In yet another ‘you had to be there to believe it moment’ (which should tell you to attend as many Megaslam events as possible!) it was in Wakefield where Spike Savage was left behind and we all laid witness to the birth of Spike SAUVAGE. During an intense year in review with Martin Kirby and The Sheikh, Spike grabbed the mic to tell the fans and his former team mates that everyone has been pronouncing his name wrong and it was in fact ‘Sauvage’ which made the fans stand up and ‘do the dance’ - a star truly was born that evening and now all the comments you see are mostly of fans recreating that epic dance.
